I think what I need to do is turn my midi into an audio file? I don't know.hopefully this better explains what my problem is. When I try to bounce the song with both audio and midi tracks together, only the audio is bounced. All I've been able to figure out how to do is make a wave file for my audio tracks and a separate midi file for my midi. My problem is I want to export a wave file which compiles all of my audio tracks and midi tracks into one wave file. Show this menu by either right-clicking the mixer menu bar or by left-clicking the system icon on the left of the mixer, or for plugins by clicking the word Plugin.

I have a usb keyboard controller for midi and I plug it in and set up samplitude to record a midi track, then I pick a voice (I actually have no idea where the midi presets come form, I assume samplitude has preset midi sounds built in?) hit record and play it. This is a tutorial to help those who are unfamiliar with using MIDI and virtual instruments and for those who have never used a DAW before. What do you mean by exporting audio + midi ?Īnd what do you mean by exporting ? export is creating a new file, it could be only audio or only midi.Īre midi tracks loaded with vsti ? if so, you must hear sound of vsti, then make a bounce of your song, and the midi track will be render in audio mixed with real audio tracks.
